Abstract

The purpose of this classroom action research was to find out the application of the Modeling The Way Strategy in improving learning outcomes in the Fiqh subject of prostrations of recitations in class VIII-B students at MTsN 4 West Aceh in the 2017/2018 academic year. This research used Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the observation method , data collection, tests. The results of this study indicate that the Modeling The Way Strategy can improve student learning outcomes for class VIII-B at MTsN 4 West Aceh. As for the results, it can be seen that the learning outcomes in the pre-cycle of students who completed learning outcomes were 15 students out of 31 students with a completeness percentage of 48.38%, then in cycle I students who completed learning outcomes were 21 students out of 31 students in class VIII-B with a percentage completeness of 67.74% and the second cycle of students who complete the learning outcomes of 31 students in class VIII-B with the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes that have exceeded the classical achievement limit of 100%.
