Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of educational facilities and infrastructure in the learning process. The research object consists of (1) planning, (2) determination, (3) inventory, (4) maintenance, and (5) deletion. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, the research subjects are three teachers. Data was collected in three ways, namely: interviews, observation, and documentation. The research results show that: (1) planning of educational facilities and infrastructure in the learning process through needs analysis (school self-evaluation), financing, and priority analysis. (2) procurement of infrastructure in the learning process originates from repairs, government funds, and non-governmental organizations with due regard to the quality and function of the learning process. (3) inventory of infrastructure in the learning process such as recording codes, quantities, prices of goods, and so on with the aim of controlling school facilities and infrastructure. (4) maintenance of facilities and infrastructure in the learning process through daily maintenance involving teachers and students targeting textbooks, classrooms, and learning tools; periodic maintenance includes maintaining the school building, painting the school building, painting the fence, replacing ceilings, chairs, tables, blackboards and computers or laptops. (5) the removal of sarpras in the learning process has been carried out properly through the removal procedure and taking into account the workload of the educators.
