Bimbingan Perkawinan Bimbingan Perkawinan Sebagai Upaya Membangun Keluarga Sakinah: Studi Praktik Pengalaman Lapangan di KUA Kecamatan Karanganyar Kabupaten Pekalongan

Abstract

Marriage counseling is guidance provided by the KUA to prospective spouses to prepare them for married life and build a harmonious family. This study aims to examine the implementation of marriage counseling at the KUA in Karanganyar Subdistrict. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation and documentation techniques during the PPL activities. The results showed that the counseling covered the rights and obligations of husbands and wives, communication, conflict management, health, finances, child-rearing, and religious values. The counselors served as mentors, educators, motivators, facilitators, and companions. Marriage counseling serves as a preventive measure to equip prospective spouses with the necessary knowledge, mental and spiritual readiness, and skills to build a family characterized by sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah.
