Abstract

The State of Indonesia is a State of Law, not a State of power. Therefore, all issues concerning national and state life are regulated by law. Being a logical
consequence in the formation of National Law in Indonesia refers to or accommodates the aspirations of Muslims, so that the National law that will be
enforced in Indonesia involves Islamic law. The problem formulation of how the journey of Islamic law gives color in the formation of national law in Indonesia and the extent of its application in the life of the nation and state. In this research, it is perspective which means a study aimed at getting a solution to solve a problem. The struggle in raising the value of Islamic law into the contribution of the formation of national law has been carried out with the existing Law. Controversies and challenges are still felt in raising Islamic law into the formation of national law
