Implementasi Majelis Qur’an Az-Zahra dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Al-Qur’an Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

This study was motivated by the fact that some early childhood students still struggle to read hijaiyah letters and apply proper tajweed rules due to the limited ability of some parents in reading the Qur’an. The research aims to describe the implementation of the Majelis Qur’an Az-Zahra program for parents at PAUD IT Az-Zahra Sambirejo, Sragen, and to analyze its role in improving early childhood Qur’an reading skills. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with parents and Qur’an class facilitators as subjects, and the Qur’an learning activities at PAUD as the object. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, while data validity was tested using source and technique triangulation. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman. The results show that the Majelis Qur’an activities effectively improved both parents’ and children’s Qur’an reading skills and strengthened the family’s role in early childhood religious education.
