Inovasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Media Youtube dalam Mata Pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di Pondok Pesantren Alhamidiyah

Abstract

This research was motivated by an innovative phenomenon at Pondok Pesantren Alhamidiyah, where Akidah Akhlak teachers used YouTube by downloading videos to be played offline as a solution to limited internet access in a rural area. The study aims to describe the form of this innovation, its implementation process, and the obstacles and solutions adopted by teachers. A descriptive qualitative field study was used. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving the madrasah head, Akidah Akhlak teachers, and students, then analysed using an interactive model, with validity examined through triangulation and member checking. The results show that YouTube functioned not only as a medium for delivering material but also as a learning source adaptive to Generation Z students. Its implementation followed five stages, from video selection to reflective discussion. Obstacles concerning internet access, teachers' digital literacy, and device problems were overcome through teachers' creative solutions.
