Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi dalam Praktik Ibadah pada Pembelajaran PAI di SD Negeri Simangambat Julu

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the demonstration method in worship practice learning in Islamic Religious Education at SD Negeri Simangambat Julu and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. A descriptive qualitative field study was used. Data sources were the Islamic Religious Education teacher, the principal, and students of grades III and IV. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity ensured by triangulation and member checking. The results show that the demonstration method was implemented through four stages: planning, introduction, demonstration, and evaluation. Supporting factors were the teacher's skill, the principal's support, students' enthusiasm, simple facilities, and worship experience at home, while inhibiting factors were limited time, differences in students' abilities, limited facilities, the absence of an assessment rubric, and some students' lack of confidence.
